The cost of full board at Spring Creek Farm is $550 per month. Rough board is $450 per month. In return we will tailor a feeding, handling and turn-out plan that best meets your horse's individual needs. Full boarded horses have 12X12 box stalls with either pine shavings or pelleted wheat straw bedding, and daily stall cleaning. Rough boarded horses have individual 12X12 sheds. Paddocks are cleaned daily. All horses are given free access to water, up to 6 quarts of (Pennfield) grain daily, 3 feedings of grass hay per day, and daily group turn-out.

In addition, Spring Creek Farm will manage your horses worming schedule and administer a rotating paste wormer every 8 weeks or a daily pellet wormer, depending upon your preference. We are happy to discuss horse supplement options and ration the supplements of your choosing. Likewise, you may choose to include your horse on the farm schedule for routine veterinarian, farrier, dental and chiropractic services. You are also free to utilize your own providers.

Morning grain and turn-out begins at 6:00am each day. Unless the weather is severe, horses are outdoors daily. We have 20 acres of pasture, group and individual paddocks and runs to choose from. Turn-in is at dusk. Evening grain and night checks begin at 8:00pm.

Prior to bringing a horse onto Spring Creek Farm, Owners must provide proof of a current (within 1 year) negative Coggins test. Boarded horses are required to be up to date on all inoculations including: Tetanus, Rabies, Eastern & Western Encephalomyelitis, Strangles, Influenza, Rhinopneumonitis, and West Nile Virus.

Spring Creek Farm maintains a waiting list of prospective boarders. New boarders are accepted based upon an application and availability. References are required. All inquires may be directed to Nick and Sarah Armentrout.
